Nancy Briefs Joins Mitre Medical Corp. Board of Directors

Morgan Hill, CA.  Mitre Medical is pleased to announce the addition of Nancy Briefs to our Board of Directors.  Ms. Briefs is a strategic business leader in life sciences, with extensive experience creating value, driving strategy, and launching products. In her career, Ms. Briefs has raised over $500 million in equity, including an IPO.

She has served on numerous start-up life science boards, including Apama Medical (acquired by Boston Scientific, NYSE:BSX), CardiAQ, (acquired by Edwards Lifesciences, NYSE:EW), and Vista Medical, where she was a founding team member. Vista Medical was one of the pioneers of beating-heart surgery for mitral repair. During her time at Edwards, Ms. Briefs scrubbed in on over 300 valve surgeries.
